Peace Out

PEACE FOR OUR PLANET – APS suspended two Valley High School teens after mistaking peace gestures for gang signs.

The teens said goodbye to their friends and threw distinct hands signs when leaving a football game at Milne Stadium Friday night. The hand signal is similar to what Texas Longhorns fans use at sporting events.

School police officers confronted at school the teens Monday morning. APS suspended the teens for 10 days for flashing gang signs. APS alleges the teens were involved in other incidents that night that led to the suspension.
